Rangoli Competition

Rangoli was made first time at the time of Chitralakshana. During that period, son of the King's highest priest had passed away and Lord Brahma asked him to draw a portrait of the boy, which was an exact replica of the boy. This was the first time the Rangoli design was made.

In Ramayana, Ayodhya people painted Rangoli designs to welcome Lord Rama back after fourteen years of migration in the forest. In Mahabharata, this form had been used by the Gopis in their free time. It helped them rejuvenate their mind and ease away the pain of separation from Lord Krishna.

Patriotic Song

Amidst independence struggle, freedom fighters use to create patriotic songs as an inspiration to the compatriots. Throughout the history, there are evidence for songs and music playing a very important role in any strike or revolution to restore morality, order and justice in the country. Every meaningful movement will have music and songs in its background for a support. Fertilizer Nagar School, in the spirit of Independence Day, organized a Patriotic Singing Competition for students on August month. Our teachers organized the program where children made an awesome display of their unique talent. The event was very well received and got high acclaim from children and their parents. We consider this positive feedback as a success of this program.

Drawing Competition

To give an impetus to art for the all-round development of our students, a Drawing and Colouring Competition was recently conducted at Presidium. Increasing students' fondness to play with colours, the competition enabled them to give their creativity innovative wings and enhance their aesthetic sense. The young Presidians were super delighted to participate in the competition. Creating magic on their sheets, the budding artists relished a wonderful experience.
