International Women’s Day (IWD) 2022 was celebrated on March 08, 2022 at Fertilizernagar School grounds following theme of IWD 2022 : Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow. This year’s campaign was represented by the # BreakTheBias calling all people to work towards world that is equitable, inclusive and free from bias and discrimination for offering level playing field for women to move forward. All women participants were dressed in colour theme of Purple, Green or White on the occasion.

Celebrations began with prayer by all employees in presence of women board members of BMFNS and honourable guests followed by short speech on this year’s theme, awareness about women equality, self defence and security of women and children.

It was proud moment for us to have SHE Team, Chhani Police station, Vadodara as our guest of honour. Team members addressed the gathering and speech on self defence and awareness for women and students security was very informative. SHE Team enjoyed small mime and inspirational dance performance of primary section students. All women participants and guests actively participated in games and enjoyed time at selfie point also.
